Sizing & Fit

Dresses are available in standard sizing or Custom Made where stated on the product page. Standard sizes follow the measurements shown in the on-page Size Guide.

For Custom Made dresses, we confirm your measurements after checkout before production begins. The dressmaker works from those measurements and may make small proportional adjustments so that the design remains balanced for your individual proportions.

Small Fit Adjustments

Where construction allows, additional seam allowance is included for minor alterations after delivery. This can be useful if your measurements have changed slightly before the occasion or if you prefer a slightly closer or more relaxed final fit.

The allowance is intended for small adjustments rather than substantial resizing.

Small Design Changes

Some dresses allow minor changes without changing the character of the original design.

Depending on the dress, this may include:

• adjusting the length, for example mini to knee length or knee to midi
• changing a zip closure to lace-up
• other small construction changes where the design and dressmaker allow

We confirm any requested change before production begins.

For wedding dresses, a lace-up closure is often preferred where suitable because it allows greater flexibility in the final fit.

Color

Available colors are shown on the individual product page.

Where additional Custom Made colors are available, they are selected from the approved color options for that dress. Any non-standard color is confirmed before production begins.

How the Finished Dress May Sit

Product images represent the design, proportions and visible detailing of the dress. The exact way softer elements such as draping, pleats, sleeves or skirt folds sit can vary with body proportions, sizing and natural movement.

For Custom Made dresses, proportional adjustments made from your measurements can also slightly change how individual details sit while retaining the overall design.

What Is Included

The product page describes the dress and any additional pieces supplied with it. Detachable sleeves, trains, capes, shawls or other elements are included only where they are specifically stated as part of the product.

Accessories shown for styling are not automatically included.

If you are looking for a particular silhouette, length, color or type of dress, it is worth exploring more than one collection or using search rather than assuming every suitable dress appears in a single place.
